During the workshop the research outputs from the participatory mapping of walking conditions, behaviours and experiences in Accra New Town and Dome (Ghana) where shared. In breakout groups participants shared their walking experiences in Accra and policy perspectives to transform walking. The groups shared their reflection in a plenary to collectively think about the lack of emphasis on walking as a mode of transport, how to fit walking into the priorities of transport infrastructure development in the municipalities, community actions that are currently improving the walking conditions and the challenges  impeding efforts to improve walking conditions and the walking environment from a policy perspective.
